First Gynecologist Visit

I'm 27 years old and was putting off my first visit to a gynecologist because of all the "horror" stories I've heard. I had hoped to go to my mom's, because Mom really likes her, but that doctor isn't taking new patients, so I kept putting it off. Since I'm still a virgin, it wasn't an urgent thing. I met Dr. Sauter at an event relating to an organization where he volunteers his time, and I spoke to him and found out that he takes new patients. I also felt immediately at ease with him, and decided to make an appointment for my first exam. I'd always swore I'd never go to a male, but I felt so comfortable with Dr. Sauter when I met him that I decided to throw that vow out the window. My appointment was last night, and let me tell you...Knowing it was my first time, he made sure to explain everything to me as he went along, so that I wouldn't be caught by surprise by anything. He was SO kind and SO gentle, and I felt very comfortable with him - there was nothing strange or weird about it as I'd always feared there would be. He and his staff and the nurse that was in the room were all extremely kind and understanding. I would highly, highly recommend him as a doctor. I don't ever want to see anyone else.

the best

this is my first pregnancy and they had made this whole experience enjoyable for me. never have i had people like this help me as much as they can. i want another kid now so i can get treated like this again.
