I frequent the Stanfords in Jantzen Beach. I have always loved their spinach dip, salsa, among other favorites. Today there was a very disappointing change. The NEW spinach dip was horrible. Mayonaise and onions were the primary base and taste instead of the usual creamy cheesy spinach dip. It was horrible in comparison. They also discontinued the salsa. Previous to this change they had discontinued a delicious salmon entree that we so enjoyed. I hope that this is only happening at the Jantzen Beach location, because I don't know if I will continue to go there if this is restaurant-chain wide change!!! I noticed that a previous reviewer said something about a ownership change; if that is so, than that explains everything...I truly hope that these reviews get looked at by the corporation/owners that are making these changes. I will miss going there! It is such a great relaxing atmosphere!!!!

The Sanford's Restaurant in Lake Oswego has a very nice high class feel to it when you walk in. The Bar is nice place to wait for your table and yes there is often a wait, but its worth it. I will go back...

We get to go to Stanford's only a couple of times a year and primarily go when we are particularly hungry for some good hot wings. We sit in the bar area and have Caesar salads and then an order of wings and fries. We went this last week and discovered - no more wings! There were just those tired chicken tenders everyone is serving. Although the sauce was the same and they tasted good it just wasn't the same as a wing. Here's hoping you bring them back! On another note we always love our server, Lori, who always seems to remember us no matter how long its been since we've been in....and her service is great! Thanks, Lori
