1st dinner there was good, but very pricey for Filet of Sole. I won't go back; my last visit there i had clam chowder which was very thin, and worst of all, was gritty - sand from the clams. My second course that night wss fried prawns, which were spoiled (tasted like ammonia) - so much so that I couldn't eat them. The server asked me if I wanted to order something else, but by then I just wanted to leave. She took the cost of the prawns off my bill, and now that I think about it they should have taken the balance off my bill (I had the clam chowder and a glass of white wine.) The next day I was sick, which I think was caused by the prawns. I was really looking forward to a good seafood restaurant (again) in Lafayette, but was sorely disappointed in the Yankee Pier!
