One of the best facialists I've ever been to is Teresa. She is so gentle and attentive. She is in the room the whole time. When a mask is on she is massaging your scalp, face, arms, and back. I always...

I just got my hair colored today and I couldn't be happier with the results! My hair had previously been dyed too dark at another salon, and Maria my stylist got my hair back to my original color....

Nice spot. As soon as you walk in the door, you're greeted and offered tea (thankuverimuch). I've been in a couple of times to get my hair cut and I've walked out happy both times. The stylists REALLY...

So I went here based on all the lovely reviews it got, but was sorry I did. I walked in and was greeted right away and given a quick tour as I was a first time customer. Started out great. But that's where it ended. I was booked with Dan who was pleasant enough, but not a stylist by any means. I should have known I was in trouble when he tells me his wife (Roz - shop owner) got him into the business. I still had hopes though. I asked for a cut and partial hi-lights. The color turned out dull and much darker than we discussed, and a bit brassy. (He didn't use a toner, which I thought was strange.) I didn't really see it until I went home and saw it in more natural light, so I didn't say anything then. My cut was awful. My hair is longer on one side, the back is also lopsided. What was worse than the cut though was the "style" or lack thereof. He was running out of time and clearly trying to rush it. He put globs of gel into my damp hair and tried to blow dry it straight! The brush was getting caught in my hair every time he tried to run it through. Nightmare! At this point I could tell he was panicking as his next appointment was now waiting. So just to get me done, he took the flat iron and ironed 1 section of hair on the left side (the side that was too long) to curl it under a bit and that was it! Unbelievable - I won't go there ever again. So disappointed.

One of my least favorite things to do when I move is find a new hair salon. What will the stylists be like? Will they listen to me? Will they ruin my hair so bad I'll have to go somewhere else and...

Now, I'm no salon connoisseur, but Pret-a-Porter is definitely a gem in my eyes. The industry today lacks passion. The receptionist smugly asks your name, a stylist slaps you in a chair, and for 30 to...

I went in the first time really nervous because I had such long hair, I showed her a picture and she cut it just how I wanted it and told me how to style it based on my face shape! Now I love my hair! Thanks :)
