Business Summary  what's this?
Rainforest Cafe in Katy is a two star American restaurant. The menu is american comfort food. When you step inside the restaurant, you'll notice a family atmosphere. This restaurant is inexpensive. This place is good for groups.
I'm not sure what I expected but I was very disappointed. I liked the ceiling which looked like the sky at night but the "fake" animals left a lot to be desired. The food also was left a lot to be desired. I...

Rainforest Cafe has some really neat, mostly realistic animals all over the place, and the ceiling is lit to look like the night sky. It's a fun experience, like going to the zoo...but people generally don't...

Pricey food for what you get. VERY LOUD and noisy. Hard to hear anyone near you. Food is okay, nothing spectacular but have heard the desserts can be fun. More of a novelty place to go once to say you have.

We usually go on Wednesday night for family night. They have balloons for the kids and usually face painting. The kids meals are only $.99 that night.

This particular location does not seem to do Rainforest Cafe justice. We waited a significant amount of time for our food to be brought out, and it came out cold.

The food here is over-priced and "rubbery." It lacks flavor, and service is slow. The atmosphere is what you pay for--but it wasn't worth it, for me.

The food is prtty good; however I would not call it inexpensive. The restaurant also scared my daughter when she was 1.5 - 2 years old.

Kids eat for $1.99 every Wed. from 5-close with the purchase of an adult entree. This is a theme restraunt, so go for the atmosphere, not the food.
