A very disappointing evening!

My family went to dinner at Suzette on 9-11-08, to celebrate my Dad's birthday. We have been there a few times before and have always enjoyed ourselves. This night was an exception! I had made reservations for 10, but when we arrived at Suzette, the table had been set for only 8 people. There was another large party at the restaurant, but other than that, the place was pretty much deserted. It took about 10 minutes for them to get an additional table and two additional chairs. After our server FINALLY took our order, it took about an hour before we finally received our meals. My mother is diabetic, so the wait seemed extraordinarily long for her. Someone else in our party observed that only ONE person was cooking in the kitchen. Most of the food was fine, but I'd stay away from the squash soup. Pretty tasteless. It took approximately 5 minutes for our group of 10 to be served, as she only brought out one or two plates at a time. The last served was my 5-year old nephew, who had ordered a pizza from the kid's menu and waited patiently, while everyone else was served. After dinner, it took forever to receive our bill. There was only ONE server in the entire restaurant, so that was part of the problem. Someone said the original owner had sold to someone else and that many people have been complaining about Suzette lately. Not sure if that's true or not. It's too bad, because it used to be a nice place to go. Very disappointing. We won't be going back.
