The Manager, Chris was VERY polite and he gave me no problem at all. And at the end of the convo, he told me to have a blessed day! How sweet!

I showed up at the first Cobb county location and was not acknowledged as the other people are saying. The two girls who were highly unprofessional were talking about everything from sex, to how they hated their employer, to everything in between. When it was finally my turn, the girl who put me in her chair just said "come on" asked me if I wanted to leave hair out and then just went for it. She didn't ask me how I wanted it styled etc....I had to tell her and she wasn't even listening. Basically, she went so fast, paying no attention to detail and braided my hair so tight that by morning when I woke up the hair had ripped away from the base of my hairline and I was left with a burning, bright red, bald spot. I must say I called the owner, she took the weave out and they redid my hair (had to now cuz I needed the bald spot covered) and they did it nice and of course didn't charge me but ummmmm she didn't even suggest giving me back my money and I was pissed. I guess it's true, you get what you pay for. The next place I went to charged me $500, the customer service was amazing, my weave stayed in for 6 months and they even tightened it for free and my hair actually grew from having the weave in. We have to take better care of the things we love and that includes our hair!!! Go to ANgels at your own risk!!

I respect and support growing black establishments, but yall really need to be more professional ,friendly and not so ghetto . Black women are constantly accused of having bad customer service and your employees make that accusations true ! lets start by making them at least say Hi or Have a good day . I will not return to your location by the Chuck E. Cheese because I got there no spoke nor told me to sign in so im standing there looking lost so I had to ask after 5 minutes what to do another hour past and I was sent to a room where an employee was eating another girl came in and told me to go back up front when I told the girl who sent me back there what happened she just looked at me and no apologies then I waited another hour to get braided up after I Acknowledge how long ive been there but the girl janae who did my hair did a good job but for all that bad service i felt unwelcomed and will not be back or refer anyone there.

First of all you cannot beat the price. I have been to many salons in the past and paid double and triple price of Touched by an Angel and walked out disappointed. I usually get my sew ins at the Jonesboro location and they last for 2 months and I do not have any bumps or lumps. One day I was in the Conyers area visiting family and walked I walked into the Conyers location and received a perfect sew-in. I was in and out in two hours. I have read the bad and the good reveiws, I understand that every one is entitled to their own opinoin and has different levels of expections. But these young women work 7 days a week and have a life. They do not get scheduled breaks as anyone working a structured job. For the price I am paying for my hair, I ignore the customer service as long has my hair look good when I walk out. With any salon expect to wait. Bring a book to occupy your mind.

This was the worst experience I ever had at a hair salon (jonesboro)! Do not go there!I have really thick hair and informed the stylist of this before getting my relaxer, but she still went super slow and burnt the mess out of my head. I do not know why but two weeks later after I had shampooed my hair I went to a different location (Stockbridge) to have it flat ironed and they charged me $18 after the fact, claiming they had to charge me for a shampoo even though I did not get one. They charged me for services not rendered (unlawful much?). I contacted the BBB. Touched By an Angel did not respond.

The experience of me going there was alright. The staff was really rude and the lady that was doing my hair had to stopped and went to go pick up her child from school and dropped her off at home, she came back 30 minutes later.I was pissed, I was waiting for her, when I shouldn't even. The price is worth it, because the customer service is poor, but the haristyles are cute......They need more work on the'r manners

I went to the Stockbridge location for a relaxer. I am very satisfied with how straight my is and I have really coarse hair. I had to pay extra($10.00)to have my hair flat ironed, which was fine. Overall, it was worth the $35.00. I've paid double and my hair didn't get as straight.

After seeing the advertised special I called the Buckhead salon and made an appointment. When I called today for directions the service rep told me that it was in Decatur. Why advertise a Buckhead salon if it isn't open? Furthermore while she was giving me phone numbers to other locations it was loud and unprofessional in the background. She hung up before I could ask her for the number for the Jonesboro location. I searched online and for the number and found this blog. Thank heavens I did! I think if you found a good stylist it may be okay but just from 1st impressions I will not visit this salon.

I loved the service, I went in for a hair cut at the jonesboro location on main street. The ladies were nice and I noticed a lot of elderly people were there that day (wednesday). In all I paid 45 for the hair cut and a perm and got my eye brows arched. They were excellent and I plan to go back today..its been a week.

my experience was great the stylist laid my hair! (decatur where its greater)of course like someone said everyone will talk about the bad things that happen! just go to get your hair done and don't worry about the petty things.gotta remember they are working long and hard just like most of us and have to deal with many different attitudes so cut them some slack guys. just look around to you find the location you like.

I went into the N. Henry location and first of all they tried to tell me that Urban Beauty Hair was not human and that it was going to melt if they flat ironed it. Then they kept saying twenty or more times "you girls come in here with these pictures and then get mad when your hair don't turn out right" I kept saying that I use the hair all the time and I have never had a problem with it. And this is all coming from a shampoo tech. Long story short I finally got frustrated and yelled out "what is the big deal with the hair" Basically I am the client and if I want a head of full synthetic hair that is my business and once they stated their policy (however jacked up it is) the rest is on the client. The owner made the decision that they could not do my hair that day. Little did she know as soon as I got out of the shampoo tech from hell hands I was walking out with my hair wet and all. They are terrible and the owner could not run a mobile lemonade stand. Completely ghetto and unprofessional know wonder they have to offer $45 dollar weaves they would get no business otherwise.

I can't speak on the work they have done but i can vouch that the customer service over the phone was terrible!!! I just called to inquire about the services and the lady told me she could only spare me three minutes. So you know I'm not going....EVER! And this was at the Marietta location. I'm convinced that the apple don't fall too far away from the tree....in other words i am sure the other locations are just as bad. I see why it's so cheap so I will be gladly spending my hard earned money at a better servicing salon even if it's expensive. IT'S WORTH IT and less stress!!!! But to each his own.

I had my hair done at the location near South Dekalb. At first I didn't know what to expect for a $50 sew in, but thought I'd give it a try.....There are 2 girls, one that braids & one that does the sew in. They both were very pleasant & there was NO gossip!! I was in & out in no time! The only thing I can say is "HEADS UP", if your tender head.....Other than that, I'd refer anyone to them. In fact I did & both of them were pleased with Touched by an Angel! There will always be reviews good or bad, but when theres a good experience.....you GOTTA SPEAK UP & LET OTHERS KNOW!!!! I'll def. be going back & so far, I've had mine in a month! :) God Bless!!!!

I went to the Decatur Location. It's not super fancy, but the ladies were hardworking, amicable, and all in all, I was satisfied with the job that was done. I too have paid premium prices for a bad job, but was grateful for the job they did for me. I would recommend the service. They have more than one location...I would say try a couple until you find the stylist you like.

I agree with the other reviewers who stated their customer service is horrid. I also called to inquire about their services and the attitude that I recieved from not one of their location representatives, but two in both College park and Jonesboro, GA i was totally turned away and decided not to go. My suggestion is if they would like to gain new customers they DEFINITELY need to take a lesson in manners and entrepreneursip etiquitte.

I've have had bad hair styles in my life but, the young ladies that work at this salon do a good job. I've paid 85 to 120 dollars for a style at others and left upset at less at this salon I do not mind coming weekly. I come to get a my hair cleaned and not worry about MONEY! Gas is high food is high to get my hair cleaned should not cost as much as my car note!Thank You for thinking about the hard working women with children!

I didnt go to salon, but I called to inquire about services. I have to agree> they had terrible customer service. I was going to go but after my phone experience never mind!

I have visited a few of their locations and they all seem to be horrible. The sew ins are only $50 but they should really be free because they don't last long and there is always something wrong with them. There are always bumps and lumps and strings hanging out. Not to mention the staff is rude and talk about other customers as they leave. The decatur location doesn't even have a shampoo station. So they have to send you down the street to anohter salon to pay extra money. All in all, its not worth the little money you save. Go to a better salon
