Terrible color with sores and a STAPH infection

Review: I has the worst salon experience of my life at Balance with Carla. I spent $175 on hair color that not only came out horrendously, but that left me with sores all over my head which turned into a nasty Staph infection. The doctor told me I may have to shave my head if the infection did not calm down with the antibiotics that I had to take. I spent over $400 on color correction, doctors appointments and medication. I told Carla what I wanted and she went ahead and did what she wanted to anyways. The chemicals were applied directly to my scalp and when I mentioned that it was tingling and then burning when under the steamer, she told me this was normal. At the end of the experience my hair color not only washed out, but was not the colors I asked for and left my scalp with open sores. I left extremely upset. The woman who eventually had to fix all these problems felt so bad for me and had to take extra precautions due to all the damage done. I emailed Carla asking for a refund based on my experience and heard nothing back from her. I would have preferred to settle this amicably. Please do not go to this salon, it is not worth taking the chance, and please if you do decide to go, do NOT let Carla touch your hair.
