Worst Repair and Customer Service

I recently purchased a Encore refurbished Xbox 360. I discovered within 15 minutes that the product was defective. I contacted their customer service department and arranged a repair request. They have had the console for over a month without any update in repair status. I have made dozens of inquiries (with a standard 10 minute on-hold period) while awaiting completion of the request. I have never received such blatant and consistent apathy from a customer service staff. Inquires were met with confusion, excuses, evasions and lies. After allowing over a month for them to complete the repair of their own refurbished unit I gave up and requested that they return the console unrepaired. I urge any and all retailers, wholesalers and end users to be cautious with any transaction with this company.

All is great with Encore Repair

As with the buyer below, I also purchased the Stotsti Xbox's durring their one day sale, but I have not had any problems with the quality. In fact this was the first time I recieved a lot of refurbished systms and all worked perfectly out of the box! Great job Encore.

Broke Box!!

I ordered a referbished XBox from Stutsi.com. When I recieved the XBox and plugged it in all I could get it to do was flash three lights on the power button. Turns out the 60 day waranty is through encore, I assume it was also refurbished by them, and this some how slips through there quality dept.? I am in the process of getting a new one, and they have not given me any problems with doing so, but I shouldnt have to go through this at all. If I ever buuy something from Stutsi again it will be new, as I also assume that Encore fixes more than just XBoxes for them.
