Mice and Long Waits

On my 3rd visit to Dr. Masson's office, I decided I have had enough. As usual, there were at least 10 people in the waiting room, many of whom were pregnant or with little children. Of course, I had to file my info yet again because this office apparently does not believe in modern technology. All records are on paper, with hand-written notes. Upon the observation of the waiting room, I decided to go upstairs so I could at least sit down. Low and behold, a mouse ran through the room. I complained to the lab assistant who dismissed it as in "there is a construction downstairs..." !!!!! Doctors' offices and mice don't go together! Next, upon waiting an hour from my scheduled time, I inquired about when the doctor will see me. It turns out that not only there were eight people ahead of me, but the doctor had to leave at 5 pm. As it was already 4:40, I realized that there is no hope. Interestingly enough, the staff was not apologetic and did not alert anybody else who was waiting there that the doctor won't see them. I can't imagine how heartless you have to be to tell 7 months pregnant woman that after waiting for more than an hour she has to go home.... Bottom line: I am changing my OBGYN and I alert anybody else to NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!

Money making machine

She is only a money making machine and is the most insensitive and unprofessional physcian i have ever been to in my lifetime. Would never ever recommend her to anyone. For a single session I was charged co-pay twice and the reasoning behind it was, the symptoms that i went to her for was not diagnozed immideately and she wanted me to come again for another visit and when i told her my pain cant wait that long she asked me to wait for half hr to get an Us done to diagnoze and charged me twice on that day....

Great Doctor

Have been a patient for about 15 years. Very kind and compassionate with all three of my deliveries. She is very knowledgeable and an excellent doctor.

I Do Not Recommend to ANYONE!

Lalitha Masson was by far the absolute worst doctor I have ever been to for many reasons: 1. I scheduled my appointment, then called back to confirm it was at the Hoboken office because I didn't want to travel to Jersey City. Receptionist called me the day of the appointment and informed me I had to come to the Jersey City office because "they had moved out of Hoboken last night and weren't going back to that office." ?? 2. I was the first appointment of the day. I waited over an hour in the examination room with no explanation. Finally I asked where the doctor was and was told she was running late. Showed up and made no apologies for the wait and was extremely rude throughout the entire exam. Reluctantly answered my questions but made me feel stupid for asking what she was prescribing and why. 3. Refused to give lab results over the phone, positive or negative. Makes you make another appointment and pay another copay just to hear your pap was normal. 4. Asked her for a generic Rx and she agreed. My pharmacist pointed out she wrote the Rx for a name brand. He offered to call her office and confirm that it was ok to dispense generic but she never answered or returned calls. Pharmacist actually knew her by name and warned me ahead of time that she was difficult to deal with and that I would probably have to go back to the office to have her write me another Rx.
