Great doctor

I am inspired to write after reading the latest review. I couldn't disagree more. I've been to see Dr Pollak a few times, and I think he is wonderful. He has a great bedside manner, he's smart and very thorough. Sorry the last person had such a different experience, but I think this doctor is great.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND POLLACK

I had a terrible experience with Dr Pollack, It was my first time there and I had visited him with a severe abdominal pain and a delayed menstrual cycle. First of all I hated the way he would diagnoze - he would ask no questions but just let you speak and in case you forget to mention any symptom then thats it! You have lost your 1 in a million chance of him accurately diagnozing you. During my visit, along with the other symptoms I had expressed to the doc that my husband and I were trying for a baby, he then did my pregnancy test and said the results were negative and gave me high dosage of antibiotics after incorrectly diagnosing it as UTI. After 2-3 hours, I received a VM from Doctors office apologizing for the wrong results on the preg test (that they had me tested ve) and wanted me to see an ER ASAP since the pain could be a symptom of threatened abortion. Luckily I hadnt gone to the pharmacy directly from the doctors office hence could save my pregnancy by not having that antibiotic (high dosage) which could have harmed my child in anyway. Thanks to God that my pregnancy went just fine and now I am a proud mother of a 7 month old son. I hate to see another person going through a similar situation of wrong diagnosis and not everyone could get this lucky.

professional, frinedly and extremely competant

When I went to Dr Pollak I found him to be knowledgeable caring and a wonderful physician. He didnt scare me but gave a reasoned and cautious diagnosis without alarm. His smile alone is therapeutic and the staff is great. I wish more physicians were like the pollack brothers
