I can see both points of view of the two other raters. Dr. Lizano is a very interesting woman. I can see how she can come across as cold and terse, but I think that is because she doesn't look that warm and is a little intimidating. Once I voiced my concerns, granted I had a scheduled appointment, she was very open and not at all condescending. I agree that she could make herself a little more open and available. If you want to get anywhere with her you need to be assertive, but she is responsive and thorough. I do agree that her former facilities and staff were somewhat lacking. I was impressed with the new facility and her staff was very helpful. I was very unhappy that they mailed me my PAP test results-- I think this is highly inappropriate even if everything is fine.

I love Dr. Lizano. She is warm, patient, smart, capable...everything you could want in a doctor. She has even called me herself, on a Sunday to check in with me!
