a waste of my time

The doctors office is small and over booked he triple books patients doesn't care if you have an appointment or not you will be seen three to four hours later. i could not stay i went my appointment was at 12pm i waited till 3pm then complained they put me in a room and then waited another half hour then i go out they tell me another 15 minutes then at this time i am furious i leave. the staff is very rude and this doctor seems not to care about new patients oh well there are many other doctors. Caution don't waste your time on this one he is not worth it.

Very happy

I was referred to Dr Weingarten for thyroid problems.After reading the reviews I was a bit nervous, however he is known to be the best in town. I made my appt with ease, and did see the Doctor. He answered every question being very direct and to the point.Some people may take this as being arrogant,I see it as confidence.Which is exactly what I want in my Physician.I was sent for a thyroid scan, followed up with the doctor and put on the schedule for my surgery. I am a mother with 3 children and have brought them all in.One of my children needed ear tubes, the other kids he is following.I will be telling everyone I know to try Dr. Weingarten . The best, period

With all of the negative reviews I see on this site (which apparently had questionable motives) I feel the need to write a note in Dr. Weingarten's defense. I have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Weingarten for many years. I had also been involved in his training. Dr. Weingarten was, and still is one of the best. I was most impressed by his interaction with patients, especially children. Yes, all doctors are smart people, but some still set the bar pretty high for the rest of us. Dr. Weingarten can identify and solve problems very quickly, which may make patients perceive that they are being rushed. Good doctors should give the impression of confidence and competence in their work. I've always known Dr. Weingarten as introspective, self examining and always trying to improve, but never arrogant. I have NEVER known Dr. Weingarten to do unnecessary surgery or order unwarranted tests. From the patient's perspective, we all want to be seen NOW, we do not want to wait when we arrive and then we want to spend an hour with the doctor. These goals are at odds. The best doctors may make some patients feel rushed. I am an Otolaryngologist with over 20 years of experience. I guess the best recommendation that I can give Dr. Weingarten is to say that I would, in all confidence, allow him to take care of my children should the need arise without any reservation.

Great Doctor! THE Best ENT in town!

I don't know why the other reviews were so bad. I was reffered to Dr Weingarten and after reading them I expected the worst. He was by far one of the best Dr's I have ever met. I'm having a partial Thyroidectomy and he was very caring and knowlagable. He answered all my questions, correctly diagnosed the problem in minutes when many others Dr's could not and I did not have a long wait time even as a new paitient, the offices were very busy but the staff was polite and helpful. I'd recommend this Dr to anyone looking for the very best ENT in Las Vegas, we are very happy with him and I trust him 100% to do my surgery! I just couldn't get over how nice he was after everything I read here!
