Just to Busy To Care Anymore

Dr. Conti had been our Dr. for 11 years. Years ago it was wonderful. He was very attentive and remembered everything about our children. Recently we had another child - nine years after the last one. Even though we have been with him over a decade, Dr. Conti couldn't be bothered to check our new baby out of the hospital, he sent one of the other doctors from his practice. I didn't know this Dr. and have never ever seen anyone else except Dr. Conti. Needless to say I didn't like this Dr. AT ALL, very rude, bossy, and pushy - wanting to preform a procedure on my newborn child that I did not agree with, and that was not necessary. I reminded this Dr. I was the mother, and the final decision was up to me. I was informed in no uncertain terms that if I didn't do what I was told then social services would be called on me. I don't believe professionals should resort to such threats, especially during what is supposed to be a happy time - the birth of a child. I promptly fired this Dr., and have since refused to return to Dr. Conti, since he just doesn't seem to have the time to bother anymore.

Good care

We had a hard time finding a pediatrician in Henderson that will accept medicaid, until we found Dr. Conti's office. It is a very nice clean office, in a new building. We see Dr. Faro (not Dr. Conti) and we have had no problems with the care we have received. Dr. Faro is very nice, and always answers all our questions.
