MCP never seem to get anything right. last week i had an appointment and sit in the waiting room for an hour and an half before my son ever got called back. and then the doctor wanted to check him for something totally different from what he was there for, which didnt make any sense. the nurses are always rude and never seem to know anything, but always want to attemp to answer all your questions before they will let you talk to the doctor. MCP has serious issues

It usually helps if the nurse's hotline was actually answered & your phone calls returned. This is the second time that I have not had my call returned. It would also be helpful if you actually had a nurse to talk to, instead of a receptionist who has no idea as to what is going on, & who would rather spend precious time arguing with parents of sick children, than to see how she could help. Typically when I call in the am, no problems, but in the afternoon, talk about out to lunch. What a joke.

We love MCP. We would not go to any other doctor they have a way of making you feel welcomed. We walk in and the lady at the front desk always greets us and wthout me saying anything knows which one of my children and being seen. There a great group of doctors and you can always trust them.

I do not know what went on in the situations that have been posted, all I know is what we have experienced. We have been using MCP since our children were born and before MCP had two offices. My daughter is 11 and my son is 9. We have been very pleased with the service we have received from the doctors, nurses, and office staff over the years. We have seen all of the doctors at one time or another with our children. My son was recently examined by one of the "new" doctors. She was very thorough in her examination of him and her explanation of treatment for him to me. She answered all of my questions concerning my son before we left the office. We moved from Marshall County to Morgan County four years ago. We still make the 45 minute drive to the Arab office when our children get sick. When we are visiting family in Boaz and our children get sick we go to the Boaz office. We could not imagine trusting our childrens care to anyone else.
