User Reviews of Fellowship Bible Church

Awesome

I have attended this church for over 7 years and have never heard nor incountered any abusive occasions. I have been welcomed with open arms and much love since my very first entrance to the church. My spiritual growth increases daily with fellowship and teachings from Pastor Larry 7 Ken. I have never encountered such loving, giving, godly people in the many churches I have attended over the years.

This church is dead

I was a member of this church back in the 80's and early 90's, then again for a short period in 03. My mother and father also attended this church when I was younger (80's-90's) but left after a church split. My discrepancy with this church is more the pastoral staff than the "church" itself. The head pastor has on two separate occasions advised family members to NOT go to the authorities when a child came to a parent saying that another family member had sexually assaulted them. One of these cases happened in 1999 and the other I believe in late of 04- possible early of 05. The second case was a father who raped his very young daughter. The daughter told her mother, who in turn, went to the head pastor Larry Schwartz, who told the woman, that "these types of incidences should be dealt with privately and within the church, not by the law". The first incidence was actually my own personal case. My father sexually violated me numerous times and BOTH pastors (one whom I am related to) told me and my parents that I had no right to go to the authorities... I was 15 at the time. My opinion of this church is that BOTH pastors should lose their licenses and this church should be shut down. Thank you. -Nicole Henegar
