I wish all doctors were as genuinely engaged with their patients as Dr. Hechter. She takes time to explain the risks and rewards of treatment options, in clear language. And she doesn't just explain the treatments, but she explains her reasoning -- why she thinks this or that option will produce this or that result. It's all on the table, open and objective. Of course, she listens very well, too. Dr. Hechter understands running and runners in a deep, supportive way. Her advocacy is focused on YOUR goal: healthy, happy running.
