I was at Max's and had outstanding service and the food was out of this world. The decor gives you a feel like your in New England. The seafood was so fresh the waitress said because of the fact the cafe is so busy that it has to be ordered fresh everyday

Waited quite some time for a table and an incredible amount of time for food. I would have been better off serving and busing myself. Waited 45 mins. for an appetizer and over 1.5 hours for a meal for a family function which we had reservations for. Entirely too long of a wait that was brough to the owner's attention to which he replied over and over "I'm sorry" and made every excuse known to man including "we're short a cook" and "some of the wait staff called out sick". I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone expecting what they pay for.
