We had our vehicle towed to Gibsonton radiator & auto repair for an estimate due to the vehicle would not crank.They ran diagnostic tests on the vehicle and determind that it must be the computer which would cost $565 for just the computer.We advised them that we would need to bring the vehicle back at a later date for repairs due to the fact that we did not have the funds to fix the vehicle at that time.We were told to pay them $800 or they would not release the vehicle to us. We asked if the $800 included the computer and we were advised no it was just for the diagnostic testing!!!We refused to pay this amount and were forced to research Fl state law which requires that a repair shop gives a customer a written estimate if the repairs go over $100. Of course we did not receive this and we have since found a few other customers that have had the same issue with this repair shop.
