Not Potato Pancakes or Latkes

I have been to the Brauhaus on two occasions, once five years ago and approximately around the end of Jan. 2009. This time I ordered the sausage medley which was quite good, not overpriced. (I used to own a restaurant and usually try to figure the profit marginability the owner is making. In this case around 300%, not bad.)I was most disappointed with the potato pancakes of which I am most fond. As I used to live in W.N.Y.,NJ,which was at one time predominately German, I expected a pancake. However when my entree arrived it looked like two "Or Ida" hash browns,oval shaped. By the time I saw my serving person again I was halfway through the meal and did not consider complaining. I was not happy with just that one thing. I went home and made a batch of potato pancakes, took about 10 minutes. I fried them and ate three, freezing the remaining 9, which I have found can be available just by putting them in the toaster oven for 10 min. As I said, I enjoyed everything but the potato pancakes and hope that this will be remedied. I am sure that last time I was there I had the real thing.
