I was a patient with BMA (Dr. Paris) for about 7 years. The Doc, i believe is a good man, however his receptionist/office manager is quite a piece of work- dont miss her at all. My problem started when I had a minor proceedure done after I had changed residences. One year went by and I needed Dr. Paris again and I was told that there was an outstanding bill on my account. This was the first that I had heard anything of it. I immediately called my credit union and transferred the funds. I then was told by his receptionist that I could never be a patient of BMA again, because i was turned into a collection agency. I felt very let down in the perception of what a physican should be and what BMA truely is. I feel they could have contacted my employeer and all this would have been taken care of.

I had been a patient at BMA for 23 years before I had problems. It seems they had some sort of change and it was for the worse! I had a bill i was trying to resolve and couldn't get a straight answer as to what payment plan I could do. The billing manager told me "maybe you should find another practice" and so I did. I agree with the previous comment that BMA staff is completely uncaring and rude.

I have had experience with 2 doctors from Bma and was very unhappy with the staff of both doctors. Apparently being rude and nasty is a requirement of the staff at any Bma office. The doctors are OK but their staff leaves a lot to be desired and there are too many doctors in this city for anyone to have to put up with bad behavior on their part. Their attitude is , if you don't like it you can go somewhere else, and so I did. I can't say they are all nasty but the 2 doctors I went to had staff members that were rude and unprofessional.
