I went to Betsy Ross from 1966 to 1972 and although I missed 4th and 5th grade when I moved into the city, I did enjoy going. I lived 2 blocks away so I could go home for lunch and walking to school was easy even in the worst of weather. The thing I remember best was my 6th grade teacher Alwin Berger. He was far and away the best teacher I ever had.I wish that I could thank him.
