Saviano’s was easily the worst restaurant experience I have had this year. I had doubts about this place, by my co-worker has done nothing but rave about how great Saviano’s is incessantly for the past 6 months. I was finally coerced into going there at lunch to celebrate another co-workers birthday. Although, the appearance would have you believe it is a nice restaurant, appearances are very much deceiving. While they are very happy to take your money up front when you order, that will be the last time they will be happy to see you. After I had ordered and sat down with my group, the waitress brought out the wrong meal (eggplant vs. chicken, yes they are actually different hun). I dared to ask that they bring me the meal I had actually ordered. As the minutes ticked away, the rest of my party received their orders and proceeded to eat. I sat there waiting for my meal to arrive. Another request from the waitress brought another “3 minutes”. After all of my co-workers had finished their meals, my food arrived! As I proceeded to test the food, one of my co-workers (the same one who had raved about this place approached the owner’s son Giacomo ( you may remember Giacomo from Gordon Ramsey’s Hells Kitchen episode where he forgot to turn on the oven. I believe Gordon called him dumb as a box of rocks. I think Gordon was showing his soft side on that episode).
