User Reviews of Shear Brothers

Kindness matters

The person who reviewed you saying she was trying to get an appointment but the 16 year old receptionist did not understand your sense (or non-sense ) of humor-- never got a cut there. The hair stylists are nice, although a bit off the beaten path style wise. They do a good job and will ask you what you want and "is this the effect you wanted?" Always had a good experience there.

Bad from the beginning

I called Shear Brothers today to schedule and appointment for a quick cut. I am used to my normal salon in Georgetown but couldn't make it down that far. Since I had taken my daughters in before and it was close I figured I'd try it. When I called the girl was snotty. I asked who was great in the w/ short hair cuts. All stylists have their 'thing'.. quite snotty she said 'they're all qualified'... no kidding... but I am asking who you recommend. When I have asked at other salons I get an honest answer. So I ignored it really needing a cut, asked for an appt. at 6, she said they closed at 5. I pondered it because I didn't want to bring my 18 month old son... then made a joke I really needed it because I am fat and pregnant and wanted to feel good. SILENCE. I'd rather wait and spend twice as much in Georgetown. Learn how to interact w/ your customers and make them WANT to come to your rinky dink salon in a grocery store shopping mall. Your supposed to tend to what they need, what they are looking for.Totally turned off. Won't even go there to get my kids bangs trimmed again.
