Excellent Food--great staff by Liz S. at InsiderPages

Quaint and Local

is not the only thing needed to have a great restaurant. I was very disappointed especially after all the reviews I read about Blue Moon and maybe my expectations are just too high. I was seated inbetween two swinging doors(the kitchen and the bar)and two other tables listing and answer each other conversations... first mistake. Could have been 100 trips by servers and bartenders during meal. Appetizers were great so my choice of a good restaurant my have come true but it was all down hill from there. Main courses were okay if that. Bologneese was dry with lots of pasta with very little sauce. Service was good but could not overcome main course. Moral don't always believe what you read!
