Let Your Dog Choose

I took Malcolm, my English Bulldog, to two doggie day care centers in my area to see which I liked better. There was a clear preference shown by Malcoln to the Canine Fitness Center. At the other center, He was overjoyed to see me when I picked him up, and the second time I took him he clearly did not want to be left. Contrast that that with his Canine Fitness experience: He can't wait to get there and leaps out of the car when we arrive. He races inside where he is greeted by name and with enthusiasm by staff. When I pick him up, he's glad to see me but sometimes he really doesn't want to leave. It turns out that the best judge of a place to leave your dog is your dog. I am very happy with Canine Fitness because Malcolm loves the place.

Do you want your dog muzzled without your knowledge?

I would not recommend this daycare for many reasons: 1) staff is very unfriendly (except for the owner); 2) the facility smells; and 3) the biggest reason is that your dog may be muzzled without your...

A very bad imitation!

I am a huge dog lover and a big fan of Canine Fitness in Baltimore Maryland. So when I went to Denver, and saw an ad for Canine Fitness & Fun Center, I thought I had found a sister store. NOT EVEN CLOSE! This...

A very bad imitation

I am a big fan of Canine Fitness in Baltimore Maryland. So when I went to Denver, and saw Canine Fitness & Fun Center, I thought I had found a sister store. NOT EVEN CLOSE! There is no comparison to the two. The owner was rude. She kept raving about the news channels that have done stories on her place. Whoopee! This place is not at all nice and I am really disappointed that they are using the same name of a place that I love. These "pools" that are above ground and basically look like they could fall off their cheap platform scare me. Now, let me just tell you about the smell. I was afraid I would never get the stink of bleach mixed with urine out of my nostrils. I would never let my dog step foot or paw into those pools. Then I saw the rest of the facility, which was no better. The basement was the worst of all with a nap room of crates in the dark and then another very small room with cheap agility equiptment. The ceilings are very low giving a feeling of being in a cave. The outside has a short fence that any boarder collie could clear and no grass or gravel, just hot pavement. I was so disappointed after coming from the real Canine Fitness and also after reading reviews that people actually liked this place. I have to be honest, I have nothing nice to say. This was the worst dog place I have visited, and I visit them allover the country often.

My dog loves it here

I brought in my dog for a temperament test after touring the facilities the day before. I read many reviews on here saying how unclean the place was, but it was quite evident that this was not true. I could...

Saw it on 9 news

I came here just earlier this week after seeing a story about it on 9 news. I really liked it. My dog is overweight and could use this place. I do walk her and all, but the swimming and running about here may...

One of my better experiences in daycare :)

I have a little dog who is fairly shy. I have lived in the area for awhile but hadn't heard about this place until they had a charity dog wash a few weeks ago. There was a little blirp about in on Fox 31 news,...

The Private swims and daycare are great!

I initially brought my dog in for private swims here not too long ago. She has swum before, but seemed nervous at first. The lady doing the swim was great though and even got in the pool with her! She was...

Cool place

I like that the dogs rotate floors here, and do not just stand in the same area the entire time. They have toys and kiddie pools and other things to play with. It seemed like a really fun place for the dogs to...

Highly recommended for swimming

I have not ever taken my dog for daycare here, so I can not comment on that. I used to take my dog to Alameda East for therapeutic swims, but I decided to try here to save some money. You can take a dog here...

Changed my mind about the place for the better

To begin, I came to Canine Fitness and Fun Center about three months ago, and I did not have a good experience. I never actually brought my dog in, I just came in for a tour of the facility. As I toured the...

So far, so good

I have not been coming here for too long. I used to take my dog to Camp Bow Wow in Aurora, but a move made Canine fitness more convienent. There are some things I like better about this place. For instance...

I would not recommend.

Where do I begin? I was referred to Canine Fitness by a cute boutique that apparently knows more about selling food than they do about dog care. My experience was less than impressive. To begin, I checked out...

Best Doggie Daycare in Denver by far

I am shocked to read such negative reviews about this place, since it is by far the best I have ever been to! I have visited many of them too without much luck before. I visited the first time after hours. The...

Very rude and unprofressional attitudes ,dogs unsupervised at all times.

Very unprofessional, dogs running loose with unsupervised attention by the employees. Employees very curt, and discourteous to all who enter the facility. i would not advise going to this facility.
