Bargains Galore and Friendly People

We are from Texas and were vacationing in Dolores, CO when we were caught by a freak hail storm that left enough hail on the ground to last for two days. We didn't think to bring our pullover sweaters or coats, either. Nature reminded us that we weren't in Texas anymore and we needed supplies. We drove into Cortez and visited the Super Wal-Mart where they only had expensive rain slicks or cheap plastic bag panchos. No long sleeve shirts or jackets in sight. An employee named Ron advised us to go see this Thrift Store right across from the Dairy Queen. We went to the thrift store and found everything we needed from electric blankets to pullover sweaters and coats. We loaded up on supplies there and were so grateful to the friendly employees. They even have a "free" section near the front door where you can pick up a pair of shoes and a good book. When I went to pay for the items we bought, they all added up to less than $3. The coats were FREE! So I highly recommend it!!!
