True Indian cuisine presented in royal fashion can only be found at the newly opened Mint Leaf restaurant in Coral Gables. Owner Ranjit Sood, who owns and operates a number of restaurants in London, has developed a concept completely unique to South Florida. At Mint Leaf, the dishes are created to pamper guests with true exotic, traditional and authentic Indian specialties that focus around the Tandoor Oven which is used to prepare meats, bread, fish and vegetables sticking with the true cooking methods of Northern India. The diverse menu ranges from vegetarian appetizers like Tokri Chaat which is a crispy potato basket filled with vegetables, beans, yogurt and chutney to Mint Leaf Nawabi Khana which is an old Indian tradition. With an atmosphere dedicated to Bollywood and traditional art, Mint Leaf will not only be an educational experience, but a delicious one as well.
