Detailed and Honest

My son had been to a number of doctors and specialists without a clear diagonsis of the problem. Dr. Gellman gave him a very detailed examination, he ordered appropriate tests and we FINALLY got a diagnosis of my son's problem. He is not the king of bedside manner, but he is brilliant and intuitive. I think that is more important than anything else. He gets my recommendation!

DON'T EXPECT MUCH

Don't expect much. By far the worst doctor (STEVEN GELLMAN) I've ever been to. I never felt so unimportant in my life. The doctor looked directly at me twice other than that he was typing on a computer and just saying yes, ok, mmmhhmm. Like a husband watching sports and tuning his wife out but still answering her questions. Can't go wrong with yes or ok. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I would like a little interpersonal communication between a doctor. Not much just a little. Ok I left there and was very unsatisfied, thought it was done. I wasn't going to say anything but THEN I GET THE BILL!! Its expensive to go to the doctor I'll pay what Is rightfully mine. BUT BUT! They charged me with a chest x-ray & ECG Test. I would have remembered if they had done those 2 things. It equalled more than have of what I really owed!!! CHECK YOUR BILLING STATEMENTS. not saying this is all the doctors there nor is it common practice with them. I'm not sure how there business is ran and maybe there are certain doctors that handle their own practice billing. There are great reviews below but with STEVEN GELLMEN CHECK YOUR BILLING STATEMENT. This is my first ever online complaint this is not common practice but when I got the statement after the poor service. I'm sorry but I need to warn you.
