Excellent Restaurant

Three of us had an excellent meal at Sapori! We eat in most of Collingswood's great restaurants and Sapori is one of the best! Service was great: waiter offered an incredible number of "specials" off the top off his head and was able to answer every question we had. Food was just as good! Two of us had pasta dishes and one had a fish dish. We all shared and each meal was great! Ended the evening with a delicious cannoli! Try it!

Service/Charge Disappointment

On two previous visits to Sapori we thought we had found a gem. My last visit 12/07 (with friends I was taking there for the first time)was a disappointment. Definite service glitch. We ordered the antipasto...one to share. As the waiter was walking away, he came back to the table & told us he would add a little extra to the plate since there were three of us sharing. Very thoughtful you might think, we did. Well he did add a little extra...one plate/BUT DOUBLE CHARGED THE SINGLE APPETIZER!! Don't know what the size of a single antipasto is but we certainly would have ordered two appetizers if we knew we would be charged for two. If he had let us know we would be charged double for this "little extra", we would have declined the nicety. What exactly is "a little extra"? Is it possible to serve two of their anitpastos on one small plate...& still see the plate? There are far to many excellent restaurants in the NJ/Phila area to be bothered with this type of trickery.
