I have never been treated this way before.

I phone today (August 4, 2008) to give the clinic my credit card number to cover some expenses for hip exrays to be send to OFA on a co-owned dog I bred. When I called, I asked for the extimated cost of the procedure as I have never met or spoke with anyone at this clinic and I was giving my credit card number to them in trust. I was treated very rudely when I asked for the estimated cost and after being put on hold for a few minutes, I was told that my business was not needed as they did not need to talk to TWO owners of one dog in the same day. I was told they did not spend this much time with their 7000 other clients and they were not going to start with me...then the line went dead. I guess they hung up on me. I was told it was the veterinarians decision that they did not want my business. I was also told the policies and procedures (rules) of the clinic as to what records they needed before they would exray the dog. I told the receptionist that I was calling from Western Canada and did the actual owner of the dog, who was going to be bringing in the dog, know the rules. I was told that I better pass that information on myself as she didn't know if the owner knew their policies. I never did get the cost for the exray...nor did the owner when she called back. I asked if I was out of line wanting an extimate of what was going to be charged to my credit card as I was respecting their professionalism to entrust the security of my credit card. That was when the line went dead.
