plenty of room for customers- none for the reptiles! by jackson c. at InsiderPages

Horrible, cramped living condtions for some reptiles (especially the Ball Python.) It's appalling. No room for some to move around at all. I left as soon as I saw this. Extremely depressing and dissapointing....

Just keeps getting better

Wonderful place to spend an afternoon with family and friends. The displays are wonderful and the variety of animals gets better all the time. Can't wait to see the newest addition.

Decent Zoo

Norfolk Zoo is a great time for the family. The baboons will make you laugh hysterically. It has the main staple animals you would expect from a zoo, but not much more.

Nice little day trip

Entertaining

It has been years since I have gone to teh zoo. I jsut took my two small children the otehr day and we alllvoed it! I even signed us up for the membership package. Great discounts if you are military.

Fantastic

Bigger and Better than Ever

The Virginia Zoo has expanded to include more natural habitats for their animals. Walkways allow you to view animals up close and personal. A must see for any visitor to Norfolk. Admission $7 adults.
