Lost the patient side of patient care

I used to love this practice. Now, they are too busy to really take time with you as a patient personally. They don't treat you as a whole person, more often just current symptoms or a routine visit. I was supposed to go in and have a follow up consult with my doctor. First, she had not looked at my charts until right then and didn't know why I was in there. She immediately dismissed my concerns, cutting me off mid-sentence. Then in the middle of another question/statement I had, she got up and walked towards the door. I was still talking to her. Totally disgusted as this was their third strike with me, I conceded and went home. This whole "consult" lasted 7 min at the most! I called back and said how upset I was. The girl on the phone was rude, transferred me and then said I could come back and the doctor could do another exam. EXAM!? That was the whole purpose of that consult. Two weeks before I already did my exam, expressed concerns and had ultra sound which were supposed to be reviewed PRIOR to consult. Not to mention that the front office staff is rude and rather unprofessional. I had been with this practice for ten years and have now switched to another. I have told several of my friends not to go there, that the practice has changed and no longer offers a professional, caring atmosphere.
