Great Hospital Great Doctors

I had a very good experience at the ER here recently. I had to go in for heart palpitations and the ER got me into a bed almost immediately, the doctor that saw me explained all the tests he was going to do on me and explained why he was doing it. The nurses here were very nice, I've had bad experiences elsewhere, but the nurse that helped me was super responsive and got me anything I needed while I was there. I don't think they are owned by Tenet anymore so that probably has a lot to do with the better quality of care!

Agree-Go elsewhere

I'd drive the extra miles and go to Medical Center of Plano or Presby-Plano. My ER visit was horrible. Had a kidney-stone, excruciating pain, doctor's physical exam was minimal, though he documented a full exam was done(I know because I requested the records). I was throwing up when my husband arrived, the nurse was on a personal phone-call and didn't come in.( I know because I could hear her end of the conversation and it wasn't business). Husband cleaned me up! I'll never go back here willingly.

Avoid it like the plague...

Horrible doesn't even begin to describe Trinity's ER. They are rude, didn't ask if I was insured, performed procedures on me that I refused to agree to (after I fell asleep), and they overbill people...
