Repair ruined ring

I had my Tiffany engagement ring repaired and EB Horn polished the band down to almost nothing. Since my ring is an heirloom I was simply looking for an apology and refund of repair cost. the owner Richard stated what is in it for me? I was very taken aback. He did not refund my money and stated I was behaving poorly by pointing out the poor repair. He even admitted that the ring was over polished, but did nothing to fix the situation. Please do not risk patronizing there.

Not very helpful. My boyfriend and I went to this store twice to look for engagement rings. The first time our salesperson showed us a variety of settings and actually placed various diamond cuts in them....

malden thrift store is cool too!
