Be careful! He did not ask if we wanted title insurance during the closing as he should have done. We told our lender we would not think of purchasing a property without it. The seller paid all closing costs, except what was paid by us for title insurance -- unfortunately it was purchased for the lender rather than for us. After two years our property situation is still a mess -- due to errors he should have spotted during his title search. He has been totally unhelpful in clearing up this mess. Since this is the largest investment you will probably make in your lives, Buyers...please...beware.
