Manhattan Dining in CT!!!

Thank God for the arrival of real Manhattan style dining in dear CT. I used to live on the upper East Side, and since my move to Hartford I have honestly been starving to DEATH! Now I have a real go-to for French, home-style Italian, Turkish, Greek and Spanish. What else can a girl ask for? I am in love with their Meze platter and calamari!

Mavi is highly innovative in perfectly bringing the best off French, Italian, Turkish dishes. The owner is the mastermind behind brilliant new fusion of Mediterranean cuisine. With heck of the chefs Mavi has the best Mediterranean food in the USA.

Mavi fuses upscale Mediterranean cuisine into a sophisticated modern experience. the menu includes everything from France, Italy, Turkey, Greece..Menu changes daily. I have not tasted better food in my life. Fun place with outstanding food!

Exquisite Meze Platter!

Mavi is really great. I have been to Turkey before and am not usually able to a find meze platter that holds a candle to what you can have there. Not so at Mavi! They have a great assortment of five or six veggies which comes with wonderful Turkish bread for dipping. They have the most wonderful yogurt and veggie salad with carrots, cucumbers and fresh dill. Their green beans are cooked in a heavenly tomato sauce. Don't get me started on their hummus... Wow!

Unusually Good Mediterranean

Mavi offers the unusual combination of upscale cuisine at affordable prices and an atmosphere that is both relaxed and chic at the same time. The food is high quality and fresh but most importantly, tasty. I would say that the staff is excellent and genuinely interested in enhancing your experience there. I love the salads, duck l'orange spring rolls, and grilled fish. Grilled calamari is also a standout.

Mavi Has It All

Romantic ambiance, a great bar scene, and totally delicious Mediterranean cuisine hits all the right bases. I would say that Mavi is one of the most interesting places to eat in Connecticut. The Mediterranean Mixed Grill Platter is a virtual feast for any carnivore, as it is loaded with a great selection of grilled rack of lamb, kebabs and other choice cuts.

Mavi Rocks

If you haven't been to Mavi yet get in the car and go! The food and atmosphere there combine to create a wonderful dining experience. I think that the menu is amazingly diverse, with great fresh salads, amazing grilled calamari, tasty steaks and pastas, and specials that really make the most of seasonally available produce.

New Name, Better Game!

Tuscan Twins is now Mavi Mediterranean Fusion Cuisine. I was totally amazed by all of the wonderful changes that have taken place in such a short time. The decor is airy and serene, with pastel colors and cool regional art gracing the walls. The seafood is out of this world. Try the whole grilled sea bass and a Mediterranean Meze platter for a perfect meal! I'll be back to explore and enjoy the rest of the new menu soon.
