This Place is the Best

I've been going to Al Grimmett and Sons (now run by son John) for almost 40 years. My dad was in the auto wrecking business and trusted NO ONE to perform car repairs honestly for his "princess daughters", except Glen and Tom Grimmett (now retired). If you want a small, completely knowledgeable, friendly "neighborhood" repair shop with perfect service (and you're a woman who is concerned about not getting ripped off because you know nothing about cars), this is the place for you. Get there early (or call for an appointment) - they get busy, but do their best to get your car back to you the same day. They specialize in Japanese and American cars, but are happy to do regular maintenance (oil change, brakes, etc.) on German models. NEVER have had a problem!! Love them!

The Best! Period!!

I can't say enough good things about Al Grimmett & Sons. They are honest, friendly, helpful, everyone is super-nice, and they are extremely reasonable. This shop would be a stand-out anywhere, but it's a true rarity in Beverly Hills, where you almost expect to be ripped off. I was prepared to pay to pay 2 or 3 times more than what they charged me for the work they did. They totally rock and I would recommend them to anyone!
