The Y is great for beginners. Another option, close by is 360 Fitness on Maple Avenue. It is brand new, very clean, smaller with a lot of strength training options... Give it a try!

Join another gym by bill w. at InsiderPages

Way to expensive. Can't use what you like because it's so small. Members of the gym are very rude. The equipment is very old. Signing out machines only causes problems. Join the Newman YMCA

lack of space

the weight room is pretty clean and nice for beginners, but you run out of weights rapidly, especially if anyone else is working out at the same time. Good cardio section, but machines show inaccurate results...
