June 1st, 2008 myself, my huband and daughter took a beautiful drive (1.5 hours) to Cafe Nola for Brunch. We arrived 15 mins before the restaurant opened. We patiently waited and were the second party thru the door at the 9:30 am opening time, only to find out that since we did not have reservations (no where on website does it say you MUST HAVE reservations)that we would not be allowed to stay. We could "check back" at 11am and they could "possibly" seat us outside. The hostess would not even work with my husband when he asked if we could wait and see if a party did not show up. When he asked what about people just coming in and she said, there is nothing I can do. She was perfectly fine with us just leaving. What ever happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE? And you only take people with reservations? What about people that just show up??? VERY UNHAPPY AND DISSAPOINTED! We will be passing this information onto everyone we know
