I bought my wedding gown from Bride Beautiful. I loved the dress and the associate Njeri. However, the rest of the staff, I was not pleased with at all. I was told that I would be charged one price for alterations, but when I arrived for the fitting, I was told a totally different price that was 2x the original amount. Mind you, I had spent 2 hours in the shop with 2 head seamstresses who looked, pulled,pinched, and pinned my dress several times and made a decision what the fee would be. After arriving for the fitting and hearing the second price, I had to argue with the head seamstress and remind her of the price she quoted and remind her of the 2 hours that I spent in their store, going over the prices. On the day before my wedding, I went to pick up my dress. I used their cleaners. I arrived at the appointed time and sat for 45 minutes before I was told that my dress was not ready and they were running two hours behind schedule. I came back 3 hours later (right before closing) to pick up my dress. When I got home and looked at my dress, it was completely wringled and looked like it had not even been touched. I got married on a Sunday and there was nothing that I could do but buy a steamer and steam the dress my self the night before and then again in the morning. Horrible!!!!

My dress came in and fit perfectly, the only altering I had done was the hem. The seamstress did a good job and the saleslady was very helpfull.But be prepared to fight the crowd if you come in on a Saturday.
