Dr. Wu is a gifted surgeon with 31 years as a physician. He served as an intern at Yale Medical and Brigham and Women's. I arrived at the hospital with a serious gallbladder issue - Though I personally didn't take it seriously, he immediately saw the peril I was in. My gallbladder was not only filled with stones but the infection in my gallbladder had spread to my liver and was moving fast. Dr. Wu performed minimally invasive surgery with five punctures instead of the standard three and did it with great skill and care. My recovery was swift and since then I have learned that few surgeons would have the skill to perform the surgery he did. I feel fortunate that Dr. Wu is on staff at Athol Memorial Hospital.
