Boy have they gone downhill

I just cut into my birthday cake and was surprised to see it was NOT what we ordered. We ordered white chocolate with raspberry filling. No raspberry filling. My husband called to inquire what was going on and they told him "Oh, yeah we gave you a $5 discount because we didn't have raspberry today". What? They never even bothered to tell him in person that it wasn't the cake he ordered. They offered to make me a complimentary cake in the flavor I ordered, but tonight is my birthday and birthday party - nice try. They refused to refund our money. On top of it all, the cake was disgusting. I have never been disappointed in their cakes - but this was almost "wet" tasting (husband said it tastes "milky"), and the filling (without raspberry, of course) was too thin and watery. We will NOT be using them for any functions in the future. Finally, we were VERY disappointed with customer service- they did not tell my husband the cake was incorrect, and when we called they only offered $5 for our troubles. It's one thing to ruin a birthday cake, but imagine if this was you wedding cake, you know? We have been using Das Meyer for years for all different occasions, but this will be the last time.
