Very kind to my elderly dog

I used Annandale Pet Spa to groom my cockapoo when I worked nearby. I changed jobs and started going to a fancier groomer near my home. My dog is elderly (15 yrs) and has some health issues that made the other groomer stressful. They were also less than patient with her inability to stay still while being groomed because of her chronic cough (collapsing trachea) and arthritis in her hips. After letting her hair get out of control long and curly rather than subject her to the stress of grooming, I called Annandale Pet Spa because I remembered how kind they were years ago. They did not dissappoint! They reassured me on the phone and when I dropped her off that they are accustomed to "delicate" elderly dogs (who can also be grouchy, I must admit, even though I adore my old pup.) They had me bring her in first thing and expedited her grooming so she was out in a couple of hours. She was 100% happy as a clam when I picked her up and looked great. The groomer even said she cut her hair as short as possible so the dog wouldn't need to come back too soon to limit stress. It's a half hour drive to get to the Annandale Pet Spa for me, but well worth the extra time to be sure that truly kind, caring people are taking care of my pet!
