i like straubs --- but

I have been dining at straubs for years as well as many lunchs with friends and relatives. However, last Wednesday, I ordered stone crabs for lunch. The waitress (Farrah) said they would cost $23.00 with only one side. I requested my "side" to be a salad. She advsed the salad would cost an additional $2.50. Can this be??? I have ordered stone crabs from the "dinner menu" at lunch time before and paid the $23.00 which included a side as well as a salad, at no extra cost. I was upset so ordered sauteed fish instead and paid $2.50 for the salad and received one side "free." Is Straubs under new ownership or was this just the waitress who said she had worked there for one week. I often order from the "dinner menu" at lunch and expect to get what comes with the dinner. In other words, just because I am there at lunch time but order from the dinner menu, according to Farrah, you pay the dinner menu cost but get what comes from the lunch menu. Please explain. By the way, where is Nicole and where is Chandler. What a pleasant experience to have these two people take care of our needs.
