I was not impressed at all

I just at there this weekend for the first time. Every time I'm in town, I try new places. Los Cuates looked like the place to try. I was underwhelmed. The salsa was some sweet BBQ tasting stuff that didn't resemble anything I've ever known as salsa. It comes from a bottle, which they sell. I took a look at the ingredients on the label and it looked like some amateur threw it together. I mean salsa does not have "gravy", "beef broth", "chicken broth", etc. Then there was the food itself. The taco on my combination plate was filled with some greasy mush that I didn't even recognize as the beef that I ordered. No lettuce, cheese, etc. Just the mush. The enchilada was no better. The tortilla was hard and leathery. The sauce was a bland, sticky concoction that was downright unpleasant to eat. The chili relleno was greasy, overcooked to the point that the egg crust was burned and crunchy, and the chile itself was almost impossible to cut or chew. The sauce on the relleno was no better than the sauce on the enchilada. The rice and beans were no better. All in all, I ended up with a plate of various sticky goo, under which was assorted tough and tasteless bits. I won't go back again.
